Masan Group has been honored in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list

Recently, Fortune magazine announced the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list. This ranking features the top 500 companies in Southeast Asia in 2024 based on revenue. In the consumer goods - retail essentials sector in Vietnam, Masan Group stands at the top of Fortune's ranking with a 2023 revenue exceeding USD 3.2 billion. Being named on this list marks a significant step for Masan towards achieving its goal of being among the world's Top 50 Most Admired Companies as per Fortune's rankings.

In the consumer goods - retail sector, Masan Group's subsidiaries, Masan Consumer (MCH) and WinCommerce (WCM), contribute over 80% of its revenue. Masan Consumer's products are well-known among Vietnamese consumers across various living spaces, from kitchens to living rooms, bathrooms, and refrigerators. The company's upcoming objective is to establish 6 big brands with each brand achieving USD 1 billion in revenue. These brands include CHIN-SU, Omachi, Cafe Wake-up 247, Vinacafé, Chanté, and Bupnon Tea 365.

In retail, WinCommerce operates the largest modern retail chain nationwide with WinMart hypermarkets, WinMart+ stores, and WiN outlets. WinCommerce recorded revenues of 30 trillion VND in 2023 and projects an increase to 33 trillion VND in 2024. The mini-mart chain, which contributes 75% of the revenue, doubled its sales during the 2019 - 2023 period, with over 2,000 stores achieving profitability in EBITDA (almost 10 times the figure from 2019).

Apart from the growth engines Masan Consumer and WinCommerce, Masan Group also owns leading subsidiaries in various sectors such as Masan MEATLife (meat value chain), Phuc Long (F&B retail chain), Masan High-Tech Materials (high-tech industrial materials)...
